TEACHING & SUPERVISION SUMMARy

I teach across the applied data science and natural hazards curriculum at Canterbury: Applied Data Analysis for Civil and Natural Systems (ENCN205), Applied Mathematical Methods (ENCN304), Systems Engineering for a Changing Climate (ENCN375), Modern Modelling Practices and AI (ENCN404), and Flood Analysis, Modelling and Management (ENCI646). My teaching emphasizes Python programming, numerical modelling, inversion techniques, and the application of machine learning to geoscientific and engineering problems. Previously, I taught geophysics in Chile.
