Committee member of BD090 since Sept. 2011. BD090 is the Committee which drafts Australian standards for bridges. New Zealand representatives attend/participate in this committee. I represent CCANZ (Cement Concrete Association in New Zealand).

Member of New Zealand Concrete Society (since 2010) and elected council member since Aug. 2011. This role implies several activities in strict contact with profession.

Invited member of ASCE Technical Group, Task 1: Life-Cycle of Structural Systems under Uncertainties. This task group aims to state strategies for research in this emerging area. Typical actions: 2-3 meetings per year, organization of special sessions, preparation of report. (2010-present)

Seminar was disseminated to Civil Engineering Students, Professors and local authorities of Elminia.
