Results of a Getty Museum (California) virtual study of mummy shroud fragments that showed that a fragment in the Teece Museum at U of Canterbury attaches to a fragment owned by the Getty Museum on one side, and to a fragment owned by the Australian War Museum in Melbourne on the other side.

Provision of a referee report for a project proposal for a two-year post-doc. The project relates to a new excavation and analysis of a Roman-period temple to Mithras in Rome.

Elected vice president of the society of Australasian Women in Ancient World Studies. (2012-present) This is a newly founded society aimed at promoting research focused on women in the ancient world. The duties of the vice president includes mentoring postgraduate and early career women.

Tasks: to referee 112 abstracts for the annual conference, commenting in detail on those related to ancient art and archaeology, and Roman culture, religion and urban life (22 abstracts)

Conference Programme Review Committee for the Australasian Society for Classical Studies. Tasks: to referree 120 abstracts for the annual conference, comment in detail on those related to ancient art and archaeology (15 abstracts), and participate in email discussions with the committee. (2011)
