Organising committee member and report judge for Executive Insight (2002-2007): Executive Insight is a programme organised by the local branch of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants that places 15-20 third or fourth year accounting students in a company, public sector organisation or accounting firm for three days to gain an insight into what accountants do and the students' future work prospects. The students write a report on what they have learnt about the workplace, how their studies apply in the workplace and give any recommendations they think are appropriate. I helped organise firms to take placements, recruited and selected students to participate, and judged the final reports.
