BIO

My research examines how people learn across formal and informal environments, how these contexts shape what they come to understand as normal, safe, appropriate and effective, and the psychological processes that influence whether and how that learning transfers into real-world judgement, behaviour and performance. I investigate these processes across educational, workplace, social and digital contexts, with a particular interest in when what people learn—and how it transfers across contexts—has important consequences for wellbeing, safety and performance.
