TEACHING & SUPERVISION SUMMARy

Research supervision: Professor Bishop has supervised or co-supervised more than 40 masters and PhD students and approximately 100 honours students in the BE(Hons) Mechanical Engineering team-based, industry-sponsored final year project. Former students work across industry, consultancy and academia.

 

Teaching: Professor Bishop teaches materials science and engineering courses into the BE(Hons) Mechanical Engineering at UC. She developed a course for final year and postgraduate students focussing on the structure-processing-properties-performance paradigm for structural alloys driven by her interest in phase transformations.
