MrsClaire Galilee

Claire Galilee is a specialist laboratory technician supporting teaching and research across the School of Biological Sciences. She manages UC’s Canterbury Sequencing and Genotyping Services, providing high‑quality DNA extraction, sequencing preparation, and genotyping workflows for researchers, students, and external partners.

 

Her role includes maintaining core molecular biology equipment, ensuring robust data quality, and supporting researchers to design and run sequencing and genotyping projects efficiently and safely. Claire’s technical expertise and collaborative approach help enable high‑impact biological research across UC and the wider region.
