BIO

Craig has a background as a nurse in intellectual disabilities and mental health. Craig is also an experienced professional supervisor working with practitioners across healthcare, allied health, leadership, and community settings. He currently practices as a nurse consultant, supervisor and as a senior lecturer.

He uses a solution focused approach, where supervision conversations are collaborative, reflective, and strengths based, helping practitioners recognise their existing resources, build confidence, navigate challenges, and develop meaningful pathways forward in their professional practice.

His research interests are in neurodiversity, mental health, supervision and strengths-based interventions like SFBT. 

Craig has many years of experience in forensic health, intellectual disability services, mental health education and supervision. His interest is in ADHD, ASD, personality disorders, schizophrenia, therapeutic interventions  and supervision. Craig's career has spanned New Zealand and the UK (where he is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy). He serves on the Asian Community Transformation Trust as a Board Member in Christchurch.
