BIO

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences. My research focuses on the application of bacteriophages to address bacterial diseases, particularly in Apiculture. I completed my PhD at Massey University, where I investigated the use of bacteriophages to prevent Paenibacillus larvae, the causative agent of American Foulbrood in honeybees. At the University of Canterbury, I work on phage-based research aimed at developing sustainable, biologically informed solutions to environmental and agricultural challenges as part of the Adaptable Phage Solutions Project.
