    Postdoctoral Fellow, MARCS Auditory Laboratories, University of Western Sydney (2011-2014) MARCS Auditory Laboratories is possibly the largest speech productiona and perception research laboratory in the world. MARCS selected me based on my expertise in Ultrasound research and my publication record, especially that related to my research on aero-tactile integration in speech production which has been published in Nature, the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America (including Express Letters) and InterSpeech. There I will be continuing research with Ultrasound, as well as the WAVE and EMA articulometers, airlow meters, and acoustics. I will be writing a ARC DECRA grant to continue research on speech variability. This position is held in conjunction with a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Canterbury in order to provide opportunities for trans Tasman research.

    Postdoctoral Fellow, NZILBB, University of Canterbury (2011-2014) NZILBB is the language, brain and behaviour research laboratory at the University of Centerbury, fostering interdisciplinary research across the University. NZILBB selected me based on my expertise articulatory phonetics and my publication record, especially that related to my research on aero-tactile integration in speech production which has been published in Nature, the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America (including Express Letters) and InterSpeech. I was also selected for my expertise in Ultrasound research. Here I will be continuing research with Ultrasound, as well as the WAVE and EMA articulometers, airlow meters, and acoustics. I will be writing an MSI grant in order to make an aero-tactile hearing aid, and a MARSDEN to continue research multi-modal speech perception. This position is held in conjunction with a postdoctoral fellowship at MARCS in order to provide opportunities for trans Tasman research.
