BIO

Fabian graduated from the University of Namur with a Masters then a PhD degree in Software Engineering in 2015. He moved to the University of Canterbury, Aotearoa New Zealand in 2017 when he was appointed Lecturer, then Senior Lecturer.

His interests are agile software development, continuous integration and DevOps, and application of natural language processing to software engineering. Fabian's current projects include approaches to generate models or extract information from requirement artefacts (e.g., user stories), automated testing practices, influence of team dynamic in agile software development, and improving the teaching and learning of software engineering in project-based courses.

Last, With the help of other researchers, Fabian recently released the ScrumBoard, an Open Source Software meant to support project-based teaching following the Scrum framework (see: https://gitlab.com/uc-scrumboard/scrumboard).
