BIO

I am the Kaiwhakahaere Taonga Tuku Iho | Manager, Cultural Heritage & Macmillan Brown Library at the Macmillan Brown Library, University of Canterbury. I lead the management of cultural heritage collections within the UC Library, including the collections and services within Macmillan Brown Library. This includes overseeing the acquisition, management and discoverabilty of the unique art, archives, rare books and published works held within the Macmillan Brown Library to support research in a diverse range of disciplines.

I have 20 years' experience in academic libraries, with particular areas of professional focus and/or research including user-focussed and inclusive modes of service delivery, advocating for the use and creation of open educational resources, and the digitisation of cultural heritage material for improved discoverability and access.
