Conference Convener for ASCS 44, the Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Classical Studies. The conference was located at the Arts Centre, Christchurch, it was held over four days, and included a public keynote in the Great Hall. Over 130 people were registered for the conference, with delegates attending from around the world. I secured internal and external funding to support this event. This was also the opening UC 150th event in 2023.

Organised the visit of Prof. Andrew Stewart, Berkeley, who was the visiting Broadhead Lecturer in 2017. This visit was arranged to help mark the Department's move into the Arts Centre, launch of the Gods and Heroes exhibition and the associated Catalogue. Due to complications in the move and Exhibition set up arranging the the Broadhead visit was challenging, although in the end a major success. The main Lecture was held in the Great Hall with items from the Logie Collection also on display. A seminar was also organised, discussions with staff and postgrad students and social functions.
