DoctorHannah Wyatt

Hannah Wyatt is a Senior Lecturer in Biomechanics in the Faculty of Health. Hannah has expertise in human movement analysis, anthropometry and sports science with interests in studying pain and injury prevention. Hannah predominately researchers balance and gait (walking and running) biomechanics. Her current research projects include studying biomechanical changes during pregnancy for pain reduction, and investigating the barriers for women to engage with physical activity during pregnancy and postpartum. Hannah has a particular interest in movement and activity for female health. 

Hannah is course coordinator for Sports Biomechanics (SPCO204 and SPCO304) at University of Canterbury. She is an Associate Investigator at the Biomolecular Interaction Centre (BIC) at the University of Canterbury and is affiliated with Auckland University of Technology through her appointment as a Research Associate. Hannah is an Associate Editor for Sports Biomechanics Journal and has been awarded a Fellowship for International Society of Biomechanics in Sports.
