BIO

Ibnu is a legal professional, researcher, and educator with a PhD from the University of Canterbury, with a particular interest in international law, environmental law, disaster law, climate change law, forest and biodiversity law, IT law, and commercial law. As a practicing lawyer in Indonesia with experience in teaching and legal research, he combines academic expertise with practical application. Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, he focuses on climate change, environmental governance, disaster resilience, and the role of AI in law, aiming to integrate technology and legal solutions to address global challenges.
