BIO

Jessie Shuker's professional background includes primary classroom teaching, including leading Kaupapa Māori, Pasifika, and Health & Wellbeing initiatives in schools. She is now a lecturer in Initial Teacher Education, teaching and cowriting courses across the Ako Bachelor of Teaching and Learning degree, primary endorsement. Jessie supports teaching and coordination across the three years, including Mathematics, Curriculum, and Professional Inquiry.
