TEACHING & SUPERVISION SUMMARy
I coordinate and teach two undergraduate courses, namely FORE131 - Trees in the Landscape and FORE342 - Geospatial Science in Forest Monitoring and Management. I strongly believe in the value of hands-on and experiential learning, so I place a strong emphasis on field trips as well as GIS and remote sensing tutorials.
I really enjoy supervising graduate students and mentoring them as they become high-calibre researchers in their own right. My graduates have gone on to successful careers in academia, government, and industry.
