As part of our Vision Mātauranga Māori research about the experiences of kaikaranga in Aotearoa, Kay-Lee Jones and I interviewed wāhine Māori from different regions of Aotearoa. A core rōpū from Wairaka Unitec in Auckland later invited me to present our findings. Ten wāhine joined online as I shared insights from our presentation originally delivered at the Indigenous Wellbeing Conference in Brisbane.
