Member of the organizing committee of the Conference in honour of John Deely. (2007). I was one of the organizers of this conference held in Christchurch in honor of John Deely, a former professor at the University of Canterbury. This conference gave the opportunity to attend talks given by several eminent scholars in the US, where John Deely currently lives and works.

Organizing committee. NZSA Conference. (2007). I was a member of the organizing committee of the New Zealand Statistical Association Conference, with the main role of financial administration. This is the major statistics conference in New Zealand which also attracts scholars overseas.

Member of the Mathematics and Statistics Department Research Committee (2005-2008). This committee advised the Head of the Department about policies and decisions related to Research within the department with the aim to facilitate and foster research.

Mathematics and Statistics Department Seminar organizer (2005-2007). In those two years I was responsible of organizing all the seminars in the department. This included invitation of speakers, their interaction with the faculty and the dissemination of their research when possible (e.g. circulation of working papers related to their talks).
