RESEARCH INTERESTS
Marie’s research interests centre on the application and optimisation of advanced analytical chemistry techniques for biochemical, chemical, and materials‑focused investigations. She specialises in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Mass Spectrometry (MS), and Liquid Chromatography (LC), with expertise in:
- Structural elucidation and molecular characterisation
- Reaction monitoring and mechanistic studies
- Biomolecular analysis and quantitative workflows
- Environmental chemistry and trace‑level detection
- Metabolomics and complex mixture analysis
She is particularly interested in method development, quantitative analysis, and the integration of complementary analytical platforms to characterise complex samples. Her work enables high‑quality data generation, robust interpretation, and deeper understanding of molecular structure, function, and reactivity across UC’s multidisciplinary research community.
