I was selected as the element Silver on the IUPAC periodic table of young chemists. This was a global award, taking applications of scientists under the age of 35 and evaluating them by their track record and contribution to the United Nations sustainability goals. My submission video is one of the 7 featured scientists on the IUPAC website.

The Fellowships aim to build human capability in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by providing early career support for New Zealand’s brightest and most promising researchers. The Fellowships are administered by the Royal Society Te Apārangi on behalf of the Rutherford Foundation Trust. Support for this programme comes from the New Zealand Government.

Award to the leader postdoctoral researcher (of over 60) in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Award to 3 of the leading postdoctoral and early career researchers in the field of membrane science. This included the opportunity to give an oral presentation in a special awards session at the 2016 meeting of the North American Membrane Society, an international scholarly conference.

Award to senior Ph.D. students and early career researchers to attend the 2013 meeting of the North American Membrane Society

Highest poster prize at the International Symposium on Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry, an international conference hosted at the University of Otago. (2 awardees).

New Zealand/Australia-wide award for Ph.D. candidates in inorganic chemistry presented at the 2011 RACI Inorganic Chemistry Division meeting in Perth (6 finalists).
