Patricio’s research contributes to the decarbonisation, electrification, and resilience of energy and transport systems. His work develops data-driven models, decision-support tools, and scenario-based analysis to support evidence-based policy, infrastructure investment, and technology planning. His research has informed understanding of transport emissions, energy system operation, demand flexibility, energy storage, building energy systems, and energy transition pathways.
