I am an academic-practitioner specialising in the design of timber structure and of fire resistant structures. I'm particularly interested in researching timber structures that are both seismic and fire resistant. My focus is on using experiments to study connections and whole-of-structure performance. I also practice structural and fire engineering at a large multi-disciplinary consultancy. I am passionate about bridging academia and enginering design practice.
