    In 2011, I was asked by the Primary Investigator (PI), Professor Craig Cary (Waikato University) to join a large multi-disciplinary research programme called the New Zealand Terrestrial and Biodiversity Survey (nzTABS). Since then I have had substantial support from nzTABS to conduct research in the Dry Valleys of Antarctica.
