DoctorRachael Dixon

Rachael's research examines how knowledge, learning, and well-being are produced through educational experiences, with a particular focus on health education in Aotearoa New Zealand schools.

She has also led, or been involved in, research projects exploring relationships and sexuality education, young people's perspectives of zero-alcohol, type 1 diabetes and educational outcomes, and digital health literacy. 

A further area of interest is the use of creative, experimental, and innovative research methodologies. She explores how new forms of inquiry can generate different ways of knowing and provide fresh insights into education, well-being, and social change.
