• Multifractal analysis: Image decomposition using Holder exponents, Multifractal spectra, image segmentation
• Moment based image features: Moment invariants, Moment spaces, Tchebichef moments, Fast computation of moments
• HRCT/MRI stack data processing, contour detection, segmentation, 3D reconstruction

Computer Graphics:
• Real-time rendering: GPU implementations, Mesh processing
• Non-photorealistic rendering: Painterly rendering, texture based NPR
• Character animation and Inverse kinematics algorithms
• Real-time terrain rendering and fluid simulation
• Facial expression analysis and recognition: Deformation tables, Expression interpolation
