  • EVENT PARTICIPATION
My invited keynote address at the IASTSO conference in Portugal, 2014, was entitled: "The assessment of clinically meaningful treatment change among sexual offenders, and the relationship between change and risk." It encompassed a review of the relevant literature that I had previously published along with updates, a selection of data from my own work and co-authored work with colleagues involving exciting new developments in the valid clinical integration of risk and change information, and my summative recommendations for practice in this area.
  • EVENT PARTICIPATION
Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts I was only able to accept the workshop part of this invitation. I delivered a Special Workshop which was well attended, entitled "Assessing change across sexual offending treatment in the context of risk – pitfalls and solutions." Invited to author a chapter for a Wiley Major Reference Work (MRW) in three volumes on theory, assessment, and treatment of sex offenders. My chapter is entitled "Therapist based assessment of need and change." This was completed and peer reviewed in 2014, and the series is currently in press.
