    Invitation to present paper at the Colloquium "International Aggression as Crime: Implications for International and Domestic Law" (2009) - Invited to present the German crime of aggression, as Germany is one of few countries that have implemented the crime in their domestic legislation. I was invited for my expertise in German law and specifically German criminal law.
  • EVENT PARTICIPATION
    Invitiation to address Insolvency Interest Group (2010)- The Insolvency Interest Group consist of lawyers and accountants with an interest in the field of Insolvency. I was invited to make a presentation about the rules and procedures of repossession in New Zealand. I was recommended to the convenor of the Group because I teach and have a research interest in the topic.
  • EVENT PARTICIPATION
    I was invited by the prestigious Australasian Study of Parliaments Group to present my research on natural disaster recovery legislation. This group regularly holds seminars at the Beehive, which are attended by Members of Parliament, government representatives and staff of various ministries, as well as academics and other interested people. I presented alongside Charles Chauvel MP.
