Shane Orchard

Current projects include research on natural disaster impacts, climate resilience, protected areas and connectivity conservation alongside methodology development for remote sensing, participatory science, scenario analysis, impact and risk assessment.

Shane is also a keen photographer, surfer, whitewater paddler, ski mountaineer and author of the Backcountry Ski-touring in New Zealand guidebook.
