TEACHING & SUPERVISION SUMMARy
I teach the law courses for business students, with a focus on commercial law and business law in ways that are relevant, accessible, and directly connected to practice. My teaching is designed for business students rather than law students, and I aim to help students build a clear understanding of legal principles in their business context.
My teaching is research-informed and draws on current developments in commercial law, regulation, and sustainability. I have redesigned course structure and content to better reflect student needs, improve focus, and strengthen alignment between learning outcomes, teaching activities, and assessment.
A key part of my teaching approach is bringing industry into the classroom. By connecting students with practitioners and professional bodies, I aim to make legal issues more tangible, strengthen student engagement, and build pathways between study and employment. This helps students see how law operates in practice and supports employability through direct exposure to professional contexts and networks.
