BIO

I am an applied neuroscientist and medical physicist with subspecialty expertise in neuroimaging. My research focuses on the application of multimodal imaging techniques—particularly magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET)—to the study of disease and aging. My primary area of investigation explores cognitive impairment and the development of dementia in Parkinson’s disease. Beyond Parkinson's, my research interests and collaborations are wide-ranging, encompassing Alzheimer’s disease, aging, stuttering, and the effects of head trauma.
