Visiting scholar to the Health Emotion and Behavior (HEB) Lab at Yale University (now renamed as Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence). Visiting Scholar to the Department of Educational Leadership at Wichita State University.

Invited to present a series of six seminars at Wichita State University through the Education Faculty and the Educational leadership Department. 1. Post Grad PhD students about my research with both children and tertiary teachers. 2. Part of Panel presentation to Faculty "Relationships before content: the effective component to teaching" focus on tertiary teachers' emotion research for staff and students. Attendees included academics from health, philosophy, social work, education, student performance, office of faculty development, performing arts. By request I presented a further four "Brown Bag Lunch Seminars" mainly on my emotion research with children in the classroom. Dates ranged from 13.04.2011 - 17.05.2011. Attendees included Performing Arts faculty, education faculty and senior educators from School District Offices and schools. I was also invited to present to the District Curriculum Advisors in the central office of the Wichita School District
