BIO

I study how data and technology can transform transportation systems to be smarter, safer, and more efficient. My research covers big data analytics, traffic flow theory, connected and autonomous vehicles, traffic control and signal optimisation, evacuation, and intelligent transportation systems. I collaborate internationally and locally across academia, government, and industry, and I mentor PhD students to tackle the future of smart mobility.

 

My team is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and PhD students for the 2025/2026 round. In addition to the advertised positions, I also welcome students who are interested in applying for a CSC PhD scholarship or joining through a CSC exchange scheme under my supervision.
