BIO
My research focuses on strategic transport planning, with a particular emphasis on enhancing sustainability and resilience. This usually involves the development of mathematical models that represent the structure and dynamics of transport systems. To analyse and improve these systems, I enjoy applying optimisation algorithms, data-driven methods, and computational modelling techniques.
Two core areas my research group have been developing are:
- Enhancing the resilience of transport systems under disruption (e.g., natural hazards) or uncertainty
- Designing low-carbon urban mobility solutions, including active travel modes and transit/public transport planning
I am also currently looking for:
- Excellent candidates interested in applying for the China Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarships (exchange, PhD, or Postdoc)
