Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Southern California (2009-2010) This is a postdoctoral position at Department of Anthropology of University of Southern California. The duty of this position was to work on a visual enthnographic film project at the Center for Visual Anthropology.

This paper is presented at a conference held at Gutian, Fujian, China, commemorating the academic contributions of the famous Chinese anthropologist, late Professor Lin Yaohua. As a research on Chinese agnatic kinship organizations, presenting this paper paid respect to Professor Lin's pioneering research on Chinese lineages.
