RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am broadly interested in ecology, particularly in the areas of plant, soil, and physiological plant ecology. My academic background and research experience have fostered a deep appreciation for the complexity of ecological interactions and the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to understanding environmental systems.

In parallel, I have a strong interest in management and leadership within higher education. I am particularly focused on how principles of strategic planning, organisational development, and institutional effectiveness can be applied to enhance the performance and sustainability of research departments within the tertiary education sector. I am passionate about exploring how evidence-based management practices can support innovation, improve student outcomes, and strengthen research in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
