TEACHING & SUPERVISION SUMMARy
I am committed to creating engaging, inquiry-driven learning experiences that empower learners to explore, question, and connect with the world around them. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that authentic, hands-on learning fosters deeper understanding and long-term curiosity, regardless of the subject matter.
Through my work with the Driven to Discover (D2D) program at the University of Minnesota, I supported educators in guiding students through real-world research experiences. I taught foundational concepts such as phenology, while also helping teachers integrate student-led investigations into their classrooms. This work highlighted the power of participatory learning and the importance of equipping educators with tools to facilitate meaningful inquiry across disciplines.
I strive to build inclusive and supportive learning environments that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Whether teaching scientific concepts or supporting professional development, my goal is to help learners become confident, reflective, and engaged participants in their own education.
