BIO

I specialise in Career Development Learning as it intersects with regional, gender, ethnic, socioeconomic, and social identities, and their symbolic capital. I pay special attention to Work-Integrated Learning practice and its impact. Using applied, qualitative research methodologies that involve community-based and community-engaged approaches and informed by expertise gathered from a 24-year career in linguistic anthropology, my research focusses on building equity, parity, community, and reciprocity.
