I was one of the organisers of the Collaborative Action Research Networks (CARN) two day national symposium (including international speakers), May 2009, University of Canterbury. I was on the organising committee, was Acting Head of the school hosting the event, co-edited the programme and proceedings, and reviewed abstracts.

Invited in 2009 by Dr Vince Ham (Director of Research at CORE Education) to be a member of the e-Learning Fellowship 'Expert Panel' for CORE Education. I advised on their research project - children using ICT to enhance learning in NZ primary classrooms. This included advising on methodology and interpretation of their findings.
