DoctorMegan Blakely

Dr Blakely provides leadership across academia, professional organisations, and industry, with a focus on strengthening the connection between research and practice. She serves as Treasurer of the New Zealand Institute of Organisational Psychology (IOP), Projects Lead for the University of Canterbury MBA Alumni Association, and has recently been appointed Chair of the Faculty of Science Equity, Diversity, Accessibility and Culture (EDAC) Committee at the University of Canterbury. She is an active member of the University of Canterbury AI Science Working Group and Aotearoa AI Collab, and leads a University of Canterbury Research Impact Grant focused on translating human-centred AI research into practical resources and industry engagement. Through these roles, she supports evidence-informed governance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and initiatives that create meaningful impact across academia, industry, and the wider community.
