In 2008, I chaired a session on Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation at the Sixth International Conference. I was invited to the scientific committee of the conference and I peer reviewed several papers. In addition, as an internationally recognised expert in this field, I was also invited to chair a session on "Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation" at this conference.

As a recognised expert in the field of Highways and Airfield Pavements, I was invited by Professor Kasahara, the chair of the Scientific Committee of the International Society of Asphalt Pavements, ISAP NAGOYA, 2010, to chair a session on Resilient Modulus in the conference.

I have been invited to be a member of the scientific committee of the 7th RILEM International Conference on Cracking in Pavements to be held at Delft, the Netherlands on 20 – 22 June, 2012. I reviewed 5 papers for the conference in December 2011.

I have been invited to join the scientific committee of the 7th international conference on maintenance and rehabilitation of pavements and technology control to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, from 28 to 30 of August 2012.
