    I received an Erskine Fellowship grant to visit the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal) from June - August 2009, and a second grant to visit the University of Minho, the University of York, and the University of Nottingham (UK) from November - December 2011. These grants were used to support activities relating to teaching and research.

    Elected President of the Society for the Quantitative Analyses of Behavior (SQAB), and served a three-year term from 2007 to 2009. SQAB began as the Harvard Symposium in the 1980's and has developed into a leading organization that attracts academics in a variety of fields, including behavior analysis, experimental psychology, comparative cognition, behavioral ecology, and neuroscience. It holds an annual meeting each year (approximately 200 attendees) and proceedings are published as a special issue of Behavioural Processes.

    I was elected as a Fellow of the American Psychological Association from Division 3 (Experimental Psychology) in 2006. The nomination process required me to submit a CV as well as a summary statement of my research programme, which were evaluated by the Fellows subcommittee.
