Rutherford Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship provide funding to PhD graduates to undertake two years postdoctoral research in New Zealand. The Fellowships aim to build human capability in research, science and technology, including social sciences and the humanities, by providing early career support for New Zealand’s brightest and most promising researchers. The Fellowships are administered by the Royal Society Te Apārangi. Support for this programme comes from the New Zealand Government. The Fellowship will enable recipients to undertake full-time research programmes for 2 years within New Zealand in any area of research, science and technology, including social sciences and the humanities, at an eligible New Zealand research institution. Applications are encouraged from within New Zealand and from those who are living overseas and would use the Fellowship to return to New Zealand to continue their research careers.
