I co-lead a project examining Germany-Pacific Island engagement and discursive representations in German and Pacific media, funded through a UC Faculty of Arts Digital Research Seed Fund grant.

I have been part of research networks most recently including Social and Scientific Innovation to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (RMIT), EU’s role in the implementation of the SDGs in the Asia (Pacific) (RMIT), Policy, Politics, Culture: EU Migration and Integration (ANU), Global Britain and EU-Anglosphere Relations in the 2020s (Monash), and Creative Economy and Culture International link (REACTIK) (Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem), and What role for Europe in the Indo-Pacific? Identifying regional policy responses towards the EUs Indo-Pacific Strategy 2022-25 (University of Canterbury).

In addition, I have been the recipient of a number of EU grants, including 'EU Public Diplomacy and Outreach in New Zealand', 'HUI-EU', EuropeAid, and Jean Monnet EU Teaching Modules.

I enjoy working as part of larger reseaech teams. Please reach out if you wish to collaborate. I have been successful in writing a number of EU research grants. I am actively looking to collaborate in Horizon Europe projects, my work especially aligns under Cluster 2 (CL2), Democracy, Peace, Communication, Media, and Civil Society,
