TEACHING & SUPERVISION SUMMARy

As well as teaching and supervising, I enjoy public outreach to schools and beyond. For more than 10 years I ran Model EU events around Aotearoa New Zealand for high school students. This is facilitated through my role as the Vice-Chair of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs.

 

In 2026 I am co-ordinating and lecturing in three courses at the University of Canterbury:

EURA101 Global EUrope I have coordinated this first year paper since 2008

POLS/EURA234 European Foreign Policy in the 21st Century This course is co-funded by a Jean Monnet EU Teaching Module

ARTS 401 Arts Research and Scholarship: Introduction to Theories and Methods a course designed for from across UC's Faculty of Arts
