BIO

My research focuses on advancing athletic health, athletic performance, and long-term athletic development in sport, with a particular emphasis on cricket science and sports medicine, including injury prevention, training workload management, and performance development. Building on this foundation, I investigate the causes, prevention, and rehabilitation of sports injuries to support safer participation and effective return-to-sport outcomes across diverse sporting populations. My work also examines the physical and biomechanical factors underpinning athletic performance, including strength, power, movement quality, and sport-specific performance testing. In addition, I am interested in the role of exercise and physical activity in improving health, physical function, and quality of life in both athletic and clinical populations. I welcome enquiries from prospective research students interested in applied, impactful research that bridges sport science, healthcare, and real-world practice.
