RESEARCH INTERESTS

My current research interests centre on occupational issues in the health professions, with a focus on the audiology profession and other allied health professions. I use both qualitative and quantitative research methods to address issues that impact healthcare professionals.

My main research interests are:

  1. Occupational stress and burnout, job satisfaction and turnover in the allied health professions.
  2. Pay gaps, with a focus on gender and LBGTQIA+ pay gaps in health professions.
  3. Occupational noise-induced hearing loss and ways to mitigate it.
  4. Improving outcomes for adults with hearing loss.
