Description

The FlowCAT is an automated high-pressure flow catalysis benchtop platform, designed for the development of continuous flow chemical processes. The system allows both gas and liquid feeds to pass through a heated reactor bed containing suitable catalysts or inert packing. The control of temperature, pressure, and the feed rates of both gas and liquid streams can be independently controlled. The FlowCAT equipped with the SRI 8610C GC. This gas chromatograph model is used to analyse different kinds of gas samples using Flame Ionization Detector (FID) through two gas sampling valves in a single GC chassis. The column oven has programmable temperature from ambient to 400°C and can hold up to 4 columns.
