The Mosquito protein crystallography system is a high-precision liquid-handling platform designed to support advanced structural biology research through highly accurate, low-volume dispensing. Using positive-displacement technology, it reliably delivers nanolitre to microlitre volumes, making it ideal for projects where protein samples are limited or difficult to purify. The system accommodates a wide range of crystallization methods—including vapour diffusion, microbatch under oil, and seeding—enabling both large-scale screening and fine-grained condition optimization. Its rapid plate setup, disposable tips to eliminate cross-contamination, and low reagent dead volumes streamline experimental workflows while improving reproducibility. With its stable deck and intuitive software, researchers can efficiently prepare high-throughput crystallization screens and optimization plates, supporting timely progression from initial hits to diffraction-ready crystals.
