Description

The Materials Lab provides a comprehensive suite of equipment for characterising the mechanical properties of engineering materials, including metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites. Our capabilities include: Monotonic tensile and compression testing Torsion and flexural testing (three- and four-point bending configurations) Uniaxial cyclic testing (low- and high-cycle fatigue) Hardness testing (Vickers, Rockwell, Brinell, and Shore) Charpy V-notch impact testing
